My path to financial advisory is not conventional, and that is precisely what shapes how I work. Trained as a dentist in Kerala, India, I arrived in Canada in 2017 and built my career here from the ground up. In 2022, I joined one of Canada's largest insurance agencies and quickly discovered that the depth of this profession went far beyond what most advisors were willing to explore.
The more I studied, earning designations, completing advanced programs, and engaging with industry bodies like Advocis, the more I understood what truly sound financial advice looks like. And the more I understood, the more I saw how rarely it was being delivered.

In 2023, I founded Soverin Financial, initially as an independent insurance agency, which I rapidly expanded into a full-service financial consultancy. Too many hardworking families, settled professionals, and business owners were receiving advice shaped by product quotas and commission structures rather than their actual needs. Financial advice was being treated as a secondary activity by people who had not fully committed to mastering it.
That is a standard I was unwilling to accept or replicate. True advisory demands full commitment, continuous learning, and the kind of intellectual honesty that puts client outcomes above everything else.

As a true independent, we have access to virtually all major insurance and investment product providers in Canada, which means our recommendations are shaped entirely by your needs, never by product availability or institutional allegiance.
Every recommendation is held against one question: is this genuinely in the client's best interest? If the answer is no, we do not make it, regardless of what it means for us commercially.
